Privacy policy

How Hyperis Solar collects, uses and protects information across this website and our apps.

Last updated October 8, 2026

Hyperis Solar provides software for solar companies: Hyperis Solar Command Center, Hyperis Solar Pro, Hyperis Solar Connect, Hyperis Field Command and Hyperis Solar Ambassador (together, the “Services”), and this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.

If you are a homeowner or a solar company employee: the solar company you work with or for decides what information goes into its Hyperis account and how it is used. We process that information on the company’s behalf. For questions about your project or your employment records, contact that company first — we will help where we can.

Information we collect

When you visit this website or ask for a demo

  • What you enter in the demo request form: name, email, and optionally phone, company, role, team size and a message.
  • Basic technical data: browser type, pages visited and a one-way fingerprint of your IP address, used to stop abuse of our forms. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.

When a solar company uses the Services

  • Staff accounts: name, email, phone, role, office and sign-in details, including two-factor settings.
  • Customer and project records: homeowner contact details, property address, utility usage, system design, proposals, contracts, permits, installation and service history, entered by the solar company.
  • Field activity: in Field Command, location when a door knock or visit is logged, photos taken for surveys and installs, and voice dictation turned into text by your device. Optional Face ID sign-in happens entirely on your device; we never receive face data.
  • Homeowner app: in Solar Ambassador, sign-in details, messages, documents, appointment requests, service requests, referral activity and, if you connect it, solar production data from your inverter provider.
  • Payments and payouts: invoice and payment status, commission and reward records, and tax forms such as a W-9 collected before a payout.
  • Calls and messages: call logs and text messages sent through the Services. Call recording happens only if the solar company turns it on.

How we use information

  • To provide, secure and support the Services and this website.
  • To send messages the Services are built to send — for example, project updates to a homeowner or a reminder to a sales rep — on the solar company’s behalf.
  • To respond to demo requests and support questions.
  • To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • To understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use homeowner records for our own marketing.

Texts, emails and consent

Messages sent through the Services respect consent, STOP replies, email unsubscribes and Do Not Market settings. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to a text or using the unsubscribe link in an email. Transactional messages about an active project, such as appointment confirmations, may still be sent.

Who we share information with

  • The solar company whose account the information belongs to, and the people it authorizes.
  • Service providers that run the Services for us under contract — hosting, database and file storage, email and text delivery, e-signature, and mapping.
  • Integrations a solar company or homeowner turns on, such as design, accounting, e-signature or inverter monitoring providers. They receive only what the integration needs.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people and the Services.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as the solar company’s account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When an account closes, we delete or anonymize its information within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal, tax or audit reasons (such as commission and payment records), which we keep only as long as required.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role and company, and companies can require two-factor sign-in for staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected companies of a breach as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information. Staff and homeowners can ask the solar company directly, or email privacy@hyperissolar.com and we will work with that company to handle the request. To delete an app account, see Delete your account.

Children

The Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will give notice of material changes.
